Pre Natal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga is specifically designed to help your body and mind to adjust to the demands of pregnancy and childbirth
Positive preparation for the arrival of your baby can pave the way for a more relaxed, confident body and mind as labour begins. Oxytocyn is the feel good love hormone that flows during labour. Adrenaline must be low for oxytocyn to flow. The ability to relax is essential. Relaxation can be enhanced with breathing and visualisation techniques practiced through pregnancy. You don't need experience and all levels of fitness can benefit from pregnancy yoga. Some people need to boost their energy with movement and some people need to slow down. The classes are designed to cater for these different needs. Every woman is different, every birth is different but whatever your plan, or your experience, the more you know your body, the more you can trust and relax when the day comes. Classes in Liverpool Liverpool Women’s Hospital: Next 6 week courses start: Monday September 6th 5.45 - 7pm and 7.15 - 8.30pm Thursday September 9th 6.45 - 8pm Saturday October 2nd 10.15 - 11.30am To book just select the time and day that suits you best and call me to book your place and I will email you all the information of where to go and how to pay. Tel: 07879282479 Email: jenni@yogabumpsandbabies.co.uk My name is Jenni Jones and I teach all of the classes and workshops at Yoga Bumps. I have parcticed yoga for many years and specialised in pregnancy yoga when I was pregnant with my son Jacob in 2004. His birth inspired my work in Liverpool with Mums to be and I went on to train as a doula or birth assistant. Being a doula has shown me how every birth is different and each one has taught me something new. My passion is helping women to prepare positively for the birth which is right for them. I trained with Birthlight as a perinatal and baby yoga instructor. I trained as a dru yoga instructor in Australia. My doula training was with Michel Odent at Paramana doula. |
